Antigen testing in healthcare settings still on the cards.
COVID-19 testing
The HSE no longer provide a service for people to book a COVID-19 PCR test or order antigen tests. But if you are a healthcare worker, you can still order antigen tests online in some situations.
COVID-19 testing for healthcare workers
You do not need a COVID-19 test unless a GP or healthcare worker advises you to have one. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and are very unwell or at higher risk from COVID-19, phone your GP.
If you want to do a COVID-19 test, read our advice on using COVID-19 antigen tests bought in a pharmacy or shop.
